    Do more nothing

Last weekend I blogged about how boring religion is and how I couldn’t be bothered blogging about it. This week I’ve caught up on some podcasts, even listened to a religion report and, wait for it, went to church on Sunday. Admittedly I turned up about half way through the service and was [...]

    Vocation

My forms arrived from SFC today for withdrawing from the subjects I had enrolled in for this semester. I had to withdraw from the intensive because I’ve already used up too much leave this year with my injured finger. Encounter Rahner

I just finished listening to Encounter which focussed on Karl Rahner but also had a lot of discussion of Ignatian spirituality which is the spirituality which forms the basis of the Jesuit religious order of which Rahner was a member.

Mark Raper the leader of the Jesuits in Australia talks about how Ignatius practiced his religion.

    Mark [...]

    Theology Podcasts

A couple of good podcasts this week for theologians on Radio National. The Ark has a short discussion of Paul Tillich from a historical perspective. The program contextualises him as someone who tried to save liberalism post WWII and observes that theology today has become more conservative than in the fifties and sixties.

    Encounter [...]
