    Greening Brisbane Anglicans

I mentioned awhile back that a bunch of people from around Brisbane Anglican churches are forming a group devoted to setting an environmental agenda in the mission of the Anglican church in the Brisbane diocese.

The first of the groups activities is to put together a kit for running services to celebrate world environment day. [...]

    The Big ‘Why?’

Not all atheists or humanists think religion is bad. For enlightened and extremely clever intellectuals, religion is a wonderful expression of the feelings of humanity when confronted with the great beyond – that which is seemingly infinitely greater than ourselves – time, the universe, the ocean, the sky, re-runs of the Simpsons , etc…

    Renewing the Neighbourhood

This is a really inspiring episode of Encounter:

    Verbs

This is my living faith, an active faith, a faith of verbs: to question, explore, experiment, experience, walk, run, dance, play, eat, love, learn, dare, taste, touch, smell, listen, argue, speak, write, read, draw, provoke, emote, scream, sin, repent, cry, kneel, pray, bow, rise, stand, look, laugh, cajole, create, confront, confound, walk back, walk forward, [...]

    My Life With the Saints

Just before Christmas (or was it after?), James handed me My Life with the Saints by James Martin, SJ. For some reason I also started reading it even though I already had a million other books I wanted to get through. I have a vague passing interest in saints and at the [...]
