every two years the bureau issues a report that tries to sum up the message from all its numbers. Measures of Australia’s Progress is its response to a growing consensus around the world that “countries and governments need to develop a more comprehensive view of progress, rather than focusing mainly on economic indicators such as gross domestic product”.
